My work has appeared in the REI Co-op Journal, Uncommon Path, The New York Times’ Wirecutter, 57hours, Treeline Review, and a handful of other places.

When I'm not crafting stories about life outdoors, I'm exploring trails with my partner, son and wild catahoula in our home base of Squamish, BC.

I know a lot about gear testing, product journalism, and producing content marketing for brands. I've learned a thing or two about SEO, copywriting, digital advertising, affiliate links, newsletters, email campaigns, and social media management. I also have not one but two philosophy degrees (practical, I know).

I'm pretty good at photography and know my way around a bunch of photo editing tools.

I don't claim to be the master of any one thing, but I am really damn good at a whole bunch of things.
